Wealth Management today announced the slate of companies and executives named finalists for the 2026 Wealth Management Industry Awards.
Popularly known as the “Wealthies,” the awards are presented annually to recognize the year’s best business initiatives that advance the industry, empower financial advisors and help wealth management firms deliver the best possible client outcomes.
The nominations came from companies across the wealth management industry ecosystem, including broker/dealers, custodians, asset managers, technology firms and other professional service providers. They spanned dozens of categories, reflecting the broad scope of operations at modern wealth management firms.
This year, a record 1,392 nominations were submitted by more than 500 unique companies for consideration. Only a third of the submissions were selected as finalists in their categories, as determined by a panel of independent judges with broad experience in the wealth management industry. Winners will be announced on Sept. 10 at a black-tie gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.
Notably, nearly 40% of submissions recognized entirely new initiatives rather than enhancements to existing programs, underscoring the pace of innovation and reinvention across the industry.
“The scale and quality of this year’s nominations reflect an industry that continues to evolve at an extraordinary pace,” said David Armstrong, managing director of editorial and content strategies for the Wealth Management Group at Informa. “What stood out to our judges was not only product innovation but also the growing sophistication in how firms help advisors operate, communicate, personalize advice, and build sustainable businesses. The finalists represent a broad cross-section of organizations pushing the industry forward in meaningful ways.”
Several new categories were introduced to the program this year, including recognition for business intelligence platforms, model portfolio selection, advisor recruiting and corporate innovation.
Winners in each category will be announced at a gala dinner on Sept. 10, 2026, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City, following that day’s Wealth Management Executive Forums, a networking event featuring panel discussions with chief executive officers of wealth management firms and lightly facilitated roundtable conversations.
