The iShares Self-Driving EV and Tech ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 631,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 41,000. Shares of IDRV were trading flat on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Tesla, trading up about 0.2% with over 19.0 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Rivian Automotive, down about 0.3% on volume of over 13.7 million shares. Polestar Automotive Holding is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 1.8% on the day, while American Battery Technology is lagging other components of the iShares Self-Driving EV and Tech ETF, trading lower by about 4.5%.
